A One-piece rod designed for rubber jig fishing for Black bass. It has a power reserve that allows it to extract fish with ease.
This is a power 4 rod with Fast action, making it a good choice for most rubber jig fishing. This includes shallow-water pitching, deep-water jigging, worm fishing and oversized spinnerbaits. The MBR 704 has been designed for Black bass, but is also suitable for muskie fishing. The tip is stiff, with a magnum heel to move big fish in dense areas. It excels in bushy, tree-lined areas where you need a powerful rod to get the fish to the boat. It’s also the perfect choice for fishing heavy jigs or plastic worms in deep water where « feel » is paramount, and for spoon fishing, where your ability to hook in deep water is particularly important.
