The finesse dropshot technique is exceptionally effective for the most difficult fish. This rod was originally designed for dropshot technique, but has been extended to Ned Rigs, Shaky Heads, Finesse Swimbaits and Neko Rigs. When you’re looking for light tackle and graceful presentations, our Dropshot fishing rods answer the call. The rod tip is very light, so you can use light hooks and, with a few turns of the reel, the rod takes care of the rest. The carbon-fibre handles allow the angler to « see » underwater for the most subtle and delicate touches, leaving nothing to chance.

All our rods have their guides mounted on the straightest axis of the blank. The rods sold on the Edge Rods Europe website are the genuine Gary Loomis brand. These products are handmade directly in the brand’s American factories. Edge fishing rods are made of carbon, so we strongly advise against fishing in stormy weather due to the electrical conductivity of carbon.
