The MBR 703 has been designed to fish for bass, zander and even lake trout in certain conditions. But it’s also a great lightweight rod for snook, redfish and speck. It’s powerful, with a light tip for good striking, and still has enough power to keep fish away from branches, without being too stiff. An excellent choice for spoon jigs, big crankbaits and slug-o baits, this is perhaps the most versatile rod in our entire range.

All our rods have their guides mounted on the straightest axis of the blank. The rods sold on the Edge Rods Europe website are the genuine Gary Loomis brand. These products are handmade directly in the brand’s American factories. Edge fishing rods are made of carbon, so we strongly advise against fishing in stormy weather due to the electrical conductivity of carbon.
