When you’re fishing for Black bass in a crowded area, you need a rod that can get them out of the brush before they reel in. That’s where this rod really shines. Powerful line, thick brush, big jigs and powerful bass are the hallmarks of this rod. Naturally, a rod this powerful can easily be used in light saltwater, for example for tarpon or cobia, but it’s designed primarily for thick covers, jigs and large Black bass.

All our rods have their guides mounted on the straightest axis of the blank. The rods sold on the Edge Rods Europe website are the genuine Gary Loomis brand. These products are handmade directly in the brand’s American factories. Edge fishing rods are made of carbon, so we strongly advise against fishing in stormy weather due to the electrical conductivity of carbon.
